Dance Clubs are a great way to promote a healthy lifestyle from an early age. Our aim is to keep kids active and engaged, whilst enjoying music and movement at the same time.
Compared to most other styles of dance, the fitness component of Bollywood/Bhangra Dance can be very high. Our teachers gradually increase energy levels throughout the class, so that in a 1-hour session, kids will feel energised and revitalised.
Several of our instructors are also qualified fitness professionals, having passed their Personal Training, YMCA ETM Level II or Yoga Qualifications; so if you are looking for a class that is more focused on fitness, we can put something together to suit your requirements and curriculum.
As well as the fitness element, we aim to educate students so that they become proficient in several aspects of the style. We focus on:
- Hand Gestures
- Facial Expressions
- Footwork
- Musicality
- Dance Technique and Skill
And it doesn’t just have to be Bollywood or Bhangra! Many of our instructors are cross-trained so we can provide a class that covers a variety of styles.
